Cat Sitter Hills District — In-Home Care for Cats Who Hate Change

Let me guess. Your cat acts like they own the house, hates strangers, and would rather eat cardboard than be put in a carrier.

I'm Vee, founder of Lulu & Co Pet Care, and I've been caring for cats across the Hills District for over 12 years. Kellyville, The Ponds, Colebee, Beaumont Hills, Rouse Hill — we're in your streets regularly, and yes, we look after cats too.

Not as an afterthought. Properly.

Why cats don't do well with traditional boarding

Cats are territorial. Their entire sense of security is built around their environment — their smells, their spots, their routines. The moment you put them in a carrier, drive them somewhere unfamiliar, and surround them with the sounds and smells of strange animals, their stress levels go through the roof.

Some cats cope. Most don't.

The signs are easy to miss — hiding, not eating, over-grooming, going to the toilet outside the litter box. A lot of owners come home from holiday to a cat that seems "off" and doesn't understand why. Nine times out of ten, it's stress from being boarded.

In-home cat sitting solves this completely. Your cat stays in their own home, in their own territory, with their own litter box and their own spot on the couch. The only thing that changes is that someone comes to check on them, feed them, refresh their water, and spend some time with them.

That's exactly what our Solo Check-In service is.

What a Lulu & Co cat check-in looks like

We come to your home once or twice a day (you choose) for a 20-minute visit. We'll feed your cat, refresh water, clean the litter tray, check they're behaving normally, and spend some time with them if they're up for it.

Some cats will immediately want cuddles. Others will glare at us from the top of the wardrobe for the first three visits and then act like we've always been friends. We get both types.

After every visit you'll get an update — usually a photo or a quick message so you know everything is fine. If anything seems off, we'll let you know straight away.

We're not just dog people

I know — a lot of pet care businesses in the Hills District are really dog businesses that tolerate cats. We're not that. Our team genuinely loves cats and understands that they need a completely different approach to dogs.

No rushing. No big energy. No treating them like a small, uncooperative dog.

Cats pick up on stress and impatience immediately. Our team knows how to move calmly, let the cat set the pace, and build trust on the cat's terms — not ours.

Who our cat sitting service is perfect for

  • Families going on holiday who don't want to board their cat

  • Cat owners who work long hours and want a midday check-in

  • Multi-cat households where one cat is anxious or unwell

  • Senior cats who need medication administered during visits

  • Cats who have recently moved and are still settling in

If your cat is on medication, we can handle that too. Just let us know at the meet and greet and we'll make sure the right team member is across it.

Where we service

We cover Kellyville, The Ponds, Stanhope Gardens, Colebee, Marsden Park, Melonba, Beaumont Hills, Rouse Hill, Quakers Hill and surrounding Hills District suburbs.

If you're not sure whether we cover your street, just reach out — we're happy to check.

Book a meet and greet

Before we start any new cat care, we'll come and meet your cat in their own home. This gives your cat a chance to sniff us out (literally), and gives us a chance to understand their routine, personality, and any quirks we need to know about.

No pressure, no commitment — just a chance to make sure we're the right fit.
